When it comes to performance, the 2023 Terrain is expected to come standard with a turbocharged 1.5L 4-cylinder engine. With this engine, you would find an output of:

• 203 lb-ft of torque

The standard engine will be combined with the 9-speed automatic transmission to ensure a smooth ride as you go from Point A to Point B. Plus, you can decide for yourself whether you want to stick with standard front-wheel drive or opt for available all-wheel drive. Depending on your needs, you might pick one or the other.

Interior Features

When you're packing up the vehicle for a road trip, you'll want tons of room for your luggage and passengers. Plus, a little bit of entertainment can go a long way when you're in the car for hours. Thanks to this model's spacious interior, you'll have room for up to five passengers, and all of whom will enjoy tons of technological features, like:

• Wireless Android Auto™
• Wireless Apple CarPlay™
• Wi-Fi hotspot
• 6-speaker audio system

Of course, you can also opt for the available features. For instance, an 8-inch touchscreen is expected to be available. Plus, you can upgrade to the Bose® premium 7-speaker audio system. Other available features like navigation and a wireless charging pad will make getting to your destination that much easier.

Safety Features in the 2023 Terrain

Whether you're traveling on unfamiliar roads or streets that you know like the back of your hand, it's important to stay safe for the duration of your drive. With the 2023 GMC Terrain, you can look forward to quite a few safety features.

Forward Collision Alert and Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning are expected to come standard for your convenience. Plus, if your kids are reaching the age to start driving, you'll be grateful for the standard Teen Driver system. The 2023 Terrain will also have Automatic Emergency Braking, Front Pedestrian Braking, and IntelliBeam® as standard equipment.
